What we are looking for
Optime Care is seeking a Financial Analyst. We are looking for someone passionate about supporting a company’s financial programs. The Financial Analyst, or Financial Specialist as it's known internally, will update the programs, assist with AP and AR, and assist with the month-end process and daily cash reconciliation. We are seeking someone who has strong collaboration, communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills and experience. This role will report to the Controller. The Financial Specialist will also provide reporting to customers and ad-hoc support for audit requests and special projects.
This position will require an introductory period in the office for training purposes. After that, it can be a hybrid role with 3 to 4 days in-office required depending on business needs.

What the position will be doing
- Produce reports from the sub-ledger operating system and store them on the server.
- Enter customer purchase invoices into the core operating system.
- Collaborate with other internal departments, including Operations, to ensure billing accuracy.
- Protect operations by maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
- Maintain and grow technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, and identifying other learning channels.
- Assist with Accounts Payable
- Assist with Accounts Receivable
- Assist with month-end close
- Daily cash reconciliation
- Actively contributes to a positive work environment by acting and communicating to facilitate relationships, continuity of business operations, and meet company demands and expectations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary; demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in work scheduled/and work assignments driven by departmental and organizational needs.
Necessary Skills, Education & Abilities
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study is required
- Proven experience or demonstrated knowledge of billing and financial reporting functions.
- Knowledge of healthcare, PBM, and or/ pharmaceutical space ideal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Exceptional proficiency working with Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and Vlookups.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
