What we are looking for
Optime Care is seeking a Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician for our Earth City, MO location. We are looking for a motivated person passionate about providing specialty therapies to patients. They will work with the Pharmacist-In-Charge and Care Teams to help accurately complete pharmacy and wholesale distribution of prescribed treatments. This position will fill prescriptions, assist in managing inventory, and package and ship medications.
This is a part-time position with an anticipated schedule of Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday morning from 8 am to 12 pm. This position is required to be on-site at our facility.

This position will fill prescriptions, assist in managing inventory, and package and ship medications.

What the position will be doing
- Assist pharmacists with tasks such as filling prescriptions, packaging orders, and Wholesale distribution to authorized facilities.
- Assist with Inventory Management within the pharmacy.
- Assist with managing facility maintenance such as temperature monitoring, facility cleanliness, organization, and equipment maintenance.
- Assist in monitoring and ordering pharmacy or facility supplies.
- Assist in preparing any ad hoc report requests from clients.
- Serve as an additional representative for facility vendors or contacts.
- Monitor external websites for items and information relating to regulatory affairs.
- Serve as a mentor for new team members.
- Cross-train with patient management and assist as needed.
- Other duties as needed or assigned by the business.
- A high school diploma, or equivalent, is required.
- Two (2) or more years of experience with pharmacy or wholesale pharmacy fulfillment operations.
- One year of experience with Inventory Management is preferred.
- A current Missouri BOP Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
- Knowledge of Federal and State Regulatory Statutes and Laws regarding pharmacies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities.

- Ability to be highly transparent, ethical, and driven.
- Relentless attention to detail and the ability to be a creative self-starter and team player.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills are required.
- Ability to communicate with all organizational levels and with patients and physicians' offices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
